Miguel Martins

Miguel, an engineer by training, started his career with Portuguese engineering and energy firm Efacec, now a part of the portfolio of Mutares, the Frankfurt-listed private equity firm. After 10 years in technical positions, Miguel moved on to management with Prio Energia, a subsidiary of Martifer today owned by the Spanish DISA Group.

Prio’s COO at the time of acquisition, Miguel kept this position for two more years before joining OZ Energia, the energy subsidiary of the Manuel Champalimaud Group, as CEO. He is currently the Strategy and M&A Adviser to the Board of OZ Energia and a Coruscant senior advisor.

Miguel holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from ISEP and an MBA from Porto Business School.
